The TB Barrier Diaphragm Pump has been designed with an additional set of diaphragms used to support the primary diaphragms. It is the perfect solution for when a diaphragm rupture has to be detected immediately in order to avoid the product leaking into the environment and the air distribution system. This ensures containment of any breach, making the Barrier Pump the safest and most obvious option to choose over other barrier pumps. Rest assured this pump is perfect for product containment.

Features

Containment – If the primary diaphragms are breached, the pump is shut off. Monitor – Continually monitors barrier pumps, tanks, vessels & pipework for leaks Our TB Barrier Diaphragm Pump is inherently safer than other barrier systems on the market and forms part of our range of pump equipment that monitors and reacts to leakage, reassuring our clients that product containment can always be achieved.

Applications

Barrier Pumps are ideal for a variety of hazardous applications, like chemicals, where it is important to catch a rupture quickly. When a rupture is detected the pump is automatically stopped and an alarm can be generated to alert you to the issue. The design benefits of the Barrier Pump also means that if one set of diaphragms rupture, the backup set will reduce the risk of the process media spilling out into the surrounding environment.
