CIP Peristaltic Pump

The unique wheel system in the PT CIP Peristaltic Pump allows the shoes inside the pump to be retracted from contact with the hose to enable an easy and efficiently clean in place procedure to be carried out. The user simply reverses the direction of rotation by a ½ turn to automatically retract the shoes without any manual intervention. Once the CIP procedure has been carried out the above is reversed and the pump can then be put back into action without the need for manual intervention. This saves time and maintains the highest level of functionality within their system whilst using the minimum amount of parts. The advantage of this technology is that the inner part of the hose is the only part of the pump that comes into contact with the fluid, ensuring that contamination of the pumped fluid is kept to an absolute minimum. Tapflo’s PT CIP Peristaltic Pump can be supplied with the following FDA approved hoses:

• EPDM (White)
• NBR (Black)
• NR (White)

 

The hoses in this Peristaltic Pump are compliant with the following regulations: EC 1935/2004 and FDA CFR21§177.2600 The “CIP wheel” technology is now available on a variety of AL models. Capacities range from 0.5 up to 10 m³/h and discharge pressures up to 15 bar. As these pumps can be used on thin, viscous, abrasive, corrosive & shear-sensitive fluids they are ideally suited to meet the requirements of a multitude of applications within the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical markets.
