Performance

Available within the Metal AOD range is the Tapflo PTFE Coated Pump constructed from cast Aluminium and all wetted parts are coated with non-stick PTFE. The inlet and outlet ports are made from Stainless Steel AISI 316L. PTFE Coated Pumps were developed for the printing industry where aluminium was no chemically resistant for their requirements and a low priced alternative to the PE/PTFE pump was required. These pumps can be used for all sorts of applications where slightly acidic or alkaline liquids need to be transferred. However, in applications where highly aggressive chemicals are to be pumped, we still recommend the full solid block PE & PTFE Air-Operated Diaphragm Pump range.
